Bambu Indah, Bali
Morning views from the Elora & Orin house of this radically unique Boutique Hotel, overlooking the edible gardens and rainforest of the island of Gods
Bambu Indah is a radically distinctive boutique hotel in Ubud in the heart of Bali, carefully curated by designers and long term residents of the island, John and Cynthia Hardy. In 2005, eleven antique Javanese bridal homes were brought to Bali, restored, and decorated with the finest details. Since then, Bambu Indah has expanded to the riverside with innovative, bespoke and luxurious bamboo structures for a truly one a kind experience.
Inspired by the travels of the owners and graced with the local culture, the breathtaking antique Javanese homes and bamboo structures are unique, warm and inviting to immerse yourself in.
Grown and prepared locally on the property, the farm-to-table restaurant offers a delicious and fresh taste of the local cuisine with organic produce growing outside of the bamboo homes.
This perfect jungle retreat feels like home and listening to the orchestra of sounds and absorbing the natural elements into our soul was truly rejuvating and transforming.
